Swedish Consulate – Xiaomi is preparing to release a unique new smartphone that will feature no physical buttons at all. Leaked information suggests this phone, codename “Zhuque,” is expected to launch in the first half of 2025. However, it’s still uncertain what will replace the traditional buttons. Xiaomi may use gesture controls, pressure-sensitive sides, or voice commands.
According to GSM Arena, the phone will include an under-display selfie camera. Which is anticipate to outperform similar technology previously attempted by Samsung.
Internally, Zhuque will be power by the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 4 processor, also set to be used in the Xiaomi15S Pro. This device is expect to debut between April and June 2025. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 4 is rumored to be a more advanced version of the 8 Gen 4, slated for release in October.
Will “Zhuque” prove to be a revolutionary product or just a showcase of technology like the Meizu Zero? We’ll have to wait until next year to find out.
